High School Contets Results - The Lane 2-12-12

Yesterday was an awesome finish to a great surf season. Solid Surf and clean conditions set the stage for a super fun contest.
Here are the results:
HMB 77 points defeat Harbor 24 points.
Womens Long Board Finals: Hannah Tonnessen 5th Place
Mens Long Board Finals: Peter Lundgard 6th Place
Mens Long Board Finals: Konrads Wallace 4th Place
Womens Short Board Finals: Kyla Kemp 4th Place
Womens Short Board Finals: Hannah Tonnessen 3rd Place
Mens Short Board Finals:Peter Lundgard 6th Place
Thanks again for a great season!! Stay tuned for details for State Championships in Oceanside the weekend of April 21st, and 22nd.

Congratulations on the solid win against Aptos yesterday! Great job you guys!!
If the winds cooperate we'll run a free surf practice for anyone that wants to surf. We'll check the conditions tomorrow morning and send out a Tweet if it is on!

No Tuesday Morning Practice due to poor conditions.

It looks like we have to bear through one more day of sloppy storm conditions. After tomorrow, things should start shaping up.
Due to onshore winds and raw conditions, we will not have practice tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow morning should bring us clean but small conditions at Kelly. If you have a way to get a longboard to the beach, bring it. I'll check conditions early and will email and tweet if it is too small to surf. If you don't hear from me, that means that practice is ON!

High School A-Team practice will be at one of three locations tomorrow!

The swell is still large and a bit raw. We are going to scout out three locations including Kelly, Dunes, and Ross' Cove. We'll make the call at 6:15am as to which location we'll be at. Please be ready to mobilize as soon as you get word. We will try out the "tweet" system. In addition, I'll send an email out via googlemail. As always... you can always call me on my cell to find out.

If it's a blown out mess, we'll cancel! Call me at 6:25 AM sharp to confirm before you come on down. If we decide to run a practice, the first heats won't be run until 6:45 a.m.
