Our First heat is at 8:30 am
I would like everyone there by 7:45am... this is so we can assess the conditions and make sure everyone is suited up and ready for the first heat. Directions are at the end of this email.
We will be meeting up at Starbucks in HMB at 6:30 if you need to put something in the trailer and will be leaving there at 6:45.

We will have our end of season party at 6:00PM at Sweetwoods Group Site (Directions: Highway 1 at Ruisseau Francais, north of Half Moon Bay.) on Wednesday evening June 1st at 6:00 PM. BBQ dinner will be served at 6:30 and awards will be handed out by campfire afterward. Come early and surf before dinner!!

Meet the Coaches and Surfers at Roosevelt Beach.
Looking for students (6th Grade – College) and families that want to be a part of this great organization.
The Coaches will be cooking up Hamburgers and Hot Dogs!
Anyone can surf with the club, but we especially need
female surfers for High school and male surfers for Middle school teams.
Bring your wet suit... the club will bring boards for you to do some surfing!!!

Luau Fundraiser Meeting for all Surf Club Friends & Families...
Submitted by okeeton on Wed, 2011-03-23 20:13There will be a meeting on March 31st, 7pm at the Boys and Girls Club of the Coastside (Cunha). This meeting is for all Families involved in the HMBSC.
This meeting will cover:
- The idea and spirit of what the Luau is for the HMBSC
- Financial breakdown of how we did last year and what our goal is this year...
- Tickets will be handed out for the surfers... to begin selling.
- Volunteer slots and how you may help ...
- What role the surfers will play at the Luaua

The Half Moon Bay Surf Club is holding a Mandatory meeting for all Middle School & High School parents of active Club or Team members. The meeting will be for parents only! At the meeting we will be talking about & distributing the HMB Surf Club's new liabilty waiver.

The San Mateo Harbor District is teaming up with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to study potential solutions for the erosion issues that threaten the long-term existence of Surfer’s Beach at the harbor jetty and accelerate erosion rates further downcoast. Come out to learn more about this important issue and have your say about what potential solutions should be considered to solve the problems while addressing other issues such as beach preservation and beach access.

CPR/AED/First Aid course

There will be a CPR/AED/First Aid course on Saturday, October 30th at the HMB Yacht Club, in their big new building.
Below is the class description.
It will be from around 9-5, give or take. I will get final times in the next day or so--save the date.
I have my minimum of five already, so the class will go.
We could have a BBQ lunch, too if someone would like to help me organize it. Morning and afternoon snacks would be nice too....
